Phoenix Rc Flight Simulator For Mac Os X

If you're wondering how you can get your hands on an RC simulator to take your flying skills to the next level, you've come to the right place. Personally, as a Mac user, I've always been in that category of people traditionally at a disadvantage when it comes to finding software like this to use. So, to help you out, here are some of the most available and free simulators you can play right now across a variety of platforms.

Available on iOS and Android

Phoenix is the professional model flight simulator for all levels of R/C pilot - Beginner to Competition level. It offers over 150 unique models and 25 beautiful flying sites. Crrcsim is an excellent rc airplane model simulator. I run it on a Mac where rc flight sims are rare. It REALLY helps to get a feel for flying and saves tons of money and repair time. There is a nice collection of models including thermal and slope gliders, DLGs and of course prop planes. Seems to me the 'feel' is quite realistic. After this update you will see a bit different screen, wait for Phoenix Sim to finish searching for updates: And then update in the same way to 6.0 with the update-file “PhoenixRC5.5.lto6.0.iupdate.pkg”: Note: After this update I recommend to Exit Phoenix Sim and restart it. Result is a installed Phoenix Sim with version 6.0 i.

Real Flight has been at the forefront of producing some of the best RC simulators in the business for many years. Unfortunately, though, they've not been available to everyone, until now anyway. As a simpler version of the flight simulator, RealFlight has released a mobile version that you can play on your phone or tablet.

  • AeroFly is our state of the art RC flight simulator for Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac OS X. AeroFly offers you great features for glider flying such a glider tow.
  • HELI-X is a professional R/C flight simulator for helicopters, planes and multicopters. Our mission: Best possible real-time physics based on modern mathematical methods. Yes, it's true you don't get to use a proper transmitter to control the virtual planes and quads on the app but, if you have never used a simulator before, it's still a great experience. Using something like an iPad feels better than using a phone as your hands are spaced similarly to when holding a transmitter.

What's great about this app is that it's free. There are in-app purchases, but the game comes with one flying field and two aircraft, a four-channel trainer and a very nice Stearman model. It's a ton of fun to fly around with these planes. I imagine the game would also be highly useful for teaching the core skills of RC to someone who's never touched a transmitter or RC plane before. The game also includes quad that you can purchase as extras, but you can't fly them in FPV.

If you'd like a free game on your phone or tablet, this one may be the one for you. With a mobile device, you can practice your RC skills on the move!
